The Spirit of the Valley never dies

Oh, poor me, orphaned and friendless

While the wicked ones amass gold and silver

Oh, poor me, in the world yet not of it

While fools drink in my honor

Oh, poor me, who has lost the Way

While dragons and tigers are everywhere

Thus thinks the noble heart

That wants to attain to greatness

When all is said, there is silence

When all is done, there is rest

When all is seen, there is darkness

When all is felt, there is numbness

Kings and Baggers have the same faith

As do the Beautiful and Ugly

Angels and demons blow the same trumpets

Yet their sounds are different

Heaven and Hell do not despise each other

But their inhabitants do

Thinking thus the Spirit goes into the Valey

For the first time in the shadow of the mountain

To start a new life without rushing springs

To see what it is that the Gods despise

When thunder in the darkness sounds

Sound and light for a moment appear

When two fighters fight for life

One blow decides the victor

When life turns to Death

One moment is Eternity

To know everything is not to know All

The Wise know nothing

Fools don't know anything

The Spirit knows All and All will never die

Ages will come and pass

But the Spirit of the Valley never dies

The Wish

Come to me and set me free

Wind of Fire, Earth of Sea.

I am you and you are me

We are one so mote it be.

In the light there is the darkness

In the darkness there is light.

Don’t forget the awe to harness

After you have fought your fight.

As above so below

As within so without

“Love is the Law”

These words I shout.

Through darkness we tread

The Light as our goal

So anxious so afraid

To find freedom of the soul.

Many an obstacle in our path,

Many a lost soul crying,

Some at peace, some filled with wrath

Forever living, forever dying.

From the sidelines I watch this show

As if it did not bother me.

I’m at ease, because I know

That one day I’ll be free.

So the next time when you think

That you can’t live like this

Remember not to doubt or to sink

And nothing you will miss.

If you do make a few mistakes

Do not worry, don’t be afraid

Do your best and know the stakes

For your glory, you have paid.

It happens to everyone

To know pleasure and the pain

Those who worry, those who moan

Will be sorry, their cries in vain.

So be happy and light in heart

Serenity and Freedom do know

You should realize right from the start

What you reap is what you sow.

I say, “Be good and harm none”

If you listen you will see

And become a Mighty One.

It is the wish to you, from me.
