Psychedelics

The word Psychedelic means Mind-Manifesting and refers to a family of hallucinogenic drugs and plants. These substances have the effect of amplifying the mind and enhancing perception. Due to the unjust War on Drugs psychedelics have demonized and users have been exposed to cruel and unusual treatment. This paper summarizes the effect, character and duration of these medicines, so that people may make an informed decision about something that could make their lives better. The War on Drugs is a crime against humanity and should be abolished.

Marijuana

Marijuana is the Bud of the Cannabis plant. It has been used by mankind for thousands of years as food, medicine and narcotic. It is a plant with a very strong odor when in full bloom and sticky resinous flowers. Only the female plant is psychedelic. According to Chris Bennett it was an essential part of the Holy Anointing Oil of Hebrew Kings, the sacred plant of Shiva and used by Hindu Yogis since antiquity, the Muslim Hashishans use it and even Queen Victoria used it. This plant is a notorious teacher and can be used as an aid in prayer and meditation. The negative effects that come with chronic use are loss of memory and lack of memory of dreams. The effects of one joint last 2 - 4 hours and if consumed properly can cause you to fall in love with it, which is dangerous. This substance should be consumed occasionally.

Ayahuasca and Mimohuasca

This Amazonian tea has been called the Wine of the Ancestors, the Blood of the Spirit and the Vine of the Dead. Ayahuasca refers to any mixture of a MAO-Inhibitor and DMT. Ayahuasca is legal in Canada and there is a Church in Toronto dedicated to it. It is a very powerful experience. It is an intense high lasting three hours where visions of Jewels, Fractals and Snakes can occur. It is often accompanied by vomiting, called the Purga and a state of ecstasy and power. The pure DMT is called the Power and 5-Meo DMT is called Glory, which describes their effects quite adequately.

LSD-25

MDMA

Pure MDMA lasts 3-6 hours with positive effects for up to one week from one dose of 150 mg MDMA. This drug was first synthesized from the Sassafras plant in an attempt to synthesize headache medication. It produces a state of profound wellbeing and universal love. It must not be mixed with Ayahuasca.

Ketamine

Ketamine is a cat and dog tranquilizer that has disassociative anasthetic psychedelic effect. In small quantities it acts as a stimulant, while high doses lead to loss of consciousness, known as the K-Hole. The dose is 80 - 200 mg and it can be snorted or injected intramuscularly or swallowed. The high lasts about 2 hours and is characterized by an extended sense of space and time. Like pure 5 MeO DMT, Ketamine has the potential to activate the third ring of power.

Peyote

Mescaline is the active ingredient of Peyote, a cactus that takes more then a decade to mature. Peyote almost went extinct due to over collection by hippies.
