Witchcraft

Although witchcraft is regarded as superstition by most modern people, it is real. Some people are capable of causing harm to others by intending to do so. They use their psychic energy to cause harm to other people.

The Azande are expert in Witchcraft. They believe that witchcraft is inherrited and due to a redish substance and small objects in a sack attached to the liver. The witchcraft substance is activated in the small intestine.  It is responsible for the ability to bewitch enemies by supernatural means. It can be cool throughout life and the witch would not even be aware of being such. When it becomes active, it can cause great harm. An autopsy can determine whether someone was a witch.

If a person twisted his ankle and the injury does not heal normally, witchraft is blamed. If a person becomes sick suddenly, it is called sorcery and if a person suffers for a long time it is witchcraft. Sorcerers harm people while witches feed of their strength.

The Shadow

The Shadow is the dark and unconsious aspect of the psyche. There is the individual shadow and the collective shadow. A person can focus on another person and harm him/her. By focusing intent properly it is very possible to cause a lot of mischief. In a battle the opponent who has more personal power will always win. But be warned - The Manipulators loose their sanity very easily and what we wish unto others, we wish to ourselves - ALLWAYS!

Heka

The expression "What the Hack" comes from the word Heka, which is Ancient Egyptin Magic. Heka can be good as well as evil. The central belief that words of power and rituals serve the purpose of revealing the hidden nature of the universe  is a common feature of religion in general.

There are stories of pharaohs winning battles by playing with wax figures. Holding a wax figure over the flame while focusing on your enemy and reciting certain Words of Power is said to cause the opponent to fall sick and die.

When favors of love are asked of the Gods, it is a good omen if a dog barks, which means that your true love will come to you. You just have to wait until you hear the knock of the spirit and then you get ready and go out to town. You will certainly meet a beautiful person.
